United go for Griezeman and we decide to continue playing Lucas – who has been NOT good enough for LFC for ten years – and now we talk about bringing Markovic back from the cold!
Add to that the annoying fact that we seem determined to keep Sakho despite bids coming in for him and his not being near to a place even on the bench so what on Earth are we doing? We keep hearing that we need somebody to replace mane whilst he is at the African Cup of Nations yet there is no actual movement even though that competition is now well under way and Mane could be back quite soon now. Let’s just admit it, we aren’t going to buy anybody – despite a downturn in our results in recent weeks – and we are going to keep every waste of space we’ve already got!
