We&#039;ve lost Dele Ali, Begovic and Eriksen in recent years because we wouldn&#039;t pay what was demanded and we stupidly thought the selling club would slash their asking prices.  They didn&#039;t and, in two of those cases, Spurs stepped in to pay the full fee and now have two of the best players in England because of it.
Dortmund might ask for £70m for this guy, we&#039;ll offer £40m and then stand by whilst he signs for Madrid, Arsenal, United, City or Chelsea who won&#039;t even quibble about the fee.]]></description>
