Common sense dictates that Milner isn't a full-back and is knocking on a bit and Moreno isn't up to the job so, yes, we need a new and top notch LB. Whether this guy is the man for the job, who knows, but with few English ones seemingly available we might need to go foreign yet again.
Hurts me to say it but if Luke Shaw is struggling to impress JM he might be a potential solution IF those idiots would sell to us, which is unlikely. Sorry if I've upset anybody making such a suggestion but he is a good player, when injury free.
Still need to concentrate our fiscal resources on, in my opinion, another CB, a better keeper who can catch a high ball, a defensive midfielder and a mobile and team-playing striker. £200m should cover it!
Not convinced that Karius is any better than Mignolet and he looks as dodgy on high balls as Mignolet does. When opponents (Bournemouth) admit they deliberately targeted his apparent uncertainty to the high ball then that says it all for me!
