In reply to idris. @Idris. Man U defense is miles better than ours. Please check the statistics before you make your comments. Check how many goals have been let in by defender errors at Lfc end compared to Man U. this season alone. Yes, you may say we need better keeper than Mignolet but our defense only ranks among relegation prone teams- Bunley, Palace, Westham, etc.

am in the opinion that a good goal keeper is as good as the defenders. our goal keeper are not bad, we need good and quality defenders.

Joe Hart is error prone. I’d rather go for Foster or Forster. I’d rather we stuck with Mignolet for the time being. He’s a fantastic shot stopper. But I suspect the problems with our keepers go back to the coaching staff. We’ve had problems for a number of years and Achtberg I believe has been at the club for all that time.

No No No not him , he will sell us out because of his Dad’s connections at united
please Jurgen go for another keeper but not united connections
any goalie is only as good as his defense – rather shore up our defense than buy a scheimel.
rather get Pepe Reina back with all his experience he will be a better buy

Shmichael is not better than Mignolet. I agree that Mignolet has made some catastrophic mistakes in goal for Liverpool but we really have to question the quality of the defense wall in front of him and the quality of his challenger. He did not have anybody keeping him on his toes. Any world class keeper will perform woefully if guarded by mediocre defenders. I still have believe in Mignolet to become more solid if Liverpool would sign quality defenders.
