Of course Chelsea need to strengthen their strike force if they want to win anything this season. Batshuayi is a work in progress who may or may not make the grade in the Premiership. Diego Costa has suffered with injury problems for the last 5 seasons and is now carrying a further injury going into the International weekend. He also invariably gets a ban or two due to his disciplinary record. Batshuayi, although showing much promise has not yet shown that he has that killer instinct all top goal scorers need to succeed at the very top level. I believe Conte knows this and is why he is considering his striker options and looking for back up to Costa.
