Having a squad full of VERSATILE players, to me, isn’t as good as having a squad full of top players in their positions. Rush, Dalglish, Souness, Hyypia, etc., were the best in their positions and NOT players who “could do a job” in a variety of positions. we need SOME versatility and cover but if we need a new LB (we do!) let’s get THE BEST and not somebody who can play there!
