Can’t judge somebody over nine games so makes sense to see how he goes for another 20-odd games and then see if his scoring record is still excellent.
If it is, sign him, if not, don’t! Not rocket science!
Would I judge any player after nine games? Not a hope!

If he keeps scoring at his current rate then, yes, he’s worth a punt but if he falls off a bit with his strike rate, as would be expected, then maybe not.
