Wenger has to realize that it does not need to be a maga signing of a world class. What Arsenal needs is a quick and clever finisher, the likes of Jermaine Defoe, Wilfred Bonny, Wilfred Zaha or Cavaney. It is a shame the he did not sign Sisseco. The crisis in defense is a self inflicted one. Wenger should have replaced Mertz long time ago, you can not rely on him to stop any attacker, but Wenger wants to make him a captain, so he will start every game. we all know how nice of a person Mertz could be, but that does not mean he could play, he could make him an assistant trainer or something, if he wants to keep him but not on the pitch. If he allowed Gabriel more games last season, he would have been much strong and a complete defender by now. he is a much superior defender than MERTZ as he is. If Wenger wants to have a chance for any trophy this season, he need to buy Mahrez, Bonnie and Sesseco. This will make Arsenal complete.
