If he thinks Arsenal’s win over Vilking and Manchester city means Arsenal is good enough for the task ahead, he must be joking and very deluded. A good team or a winning team is that which conceeds less goals, scores easily and that with a good bench. At present, Arsenal is far from that. If you take a cursory look at the two goals we conceeded against man City, our defenders were just naive and inexperience.
Last season, the likes of Swansea defeated us at home; Southamton got 4 pts from us; the same applies to West Ham; and Sunderland drew with us at home. These are matches we ought to have won easily and supposing we won these matches, we would have won the League. We didn’t because our bench was not good enough. Now is the time to do it. If Man Utd can sign a player for 100 million pounds plus, why can’t Arsenal sign a player for 25, 30 or 45 million pounds? Arsenal as it is now needs 3 or 4 more players to stand any chance of winning the league. Don’t be deluded. Do it now before it is too late.
