Who knows? Another for the future when our need is for the here and now! Seemingly making no progress in sorting out a LB – is anybody surprised? – and no movement on a TOP striker! No doubt we’ll be playing Firmino up front after six games when our strikers are all injured and Milner standing in at RB and any of about seven possibilities pretending they are defensive midfielders! God, how the mighty are fallen . . .
Defence still looks garbage, no threat up front with almost every striker injured already and sixty-odd million spent! Sorry, currently NOT very impressed with the pre-season! I SERIOUSLY hope I’m proved wrong but three main problem areas remain untouched (LB, specialist defensive midfielder and striker) and, after last year, that is bordering on being criminal!
