Draxler was told he would not be allowed to leave his club. So Arsenal fans were being goaded into an anti Wenger mood as neither player were ever leaving. 17 forwards have been named since end of season. most of which no one has heard of, 3 have joined premier clubs 5 were never leaving their clubs, another 4 were “promising youngsters” the rest are still waiting to see if anyone remembers them.
