It looks more like PSG putting Veratti on the market. On that position Moruinho already have Rooney and Herrera as potential options, and if wants to add someone he will opt for one of Mendes rising stars Gomes from Valencia. He is looking like a player who can develop into the one Mourinho likes. I don’t see what would Veratti bring to Man Utd and Premier League, he would need time to adjust and it would be tough for him and his size. Pogba would be great addition for example for similar money, but someone who would work in this squad. If I would have to bet on Mourinho’s choices in the midfield, I would bet on 2 additions. One would be Gomes (Valencia) and the second Matic (Chelsea) or Kante (Leicester). Then he would have Matic (or Kante) and Schneiderlin (or Carrick or Bastian) and Herrera to mix depending on oponennt, and in front of them Rooney or Gomes (or Herrera). I guess that Mata will be sold, Blind backup on left back and Pereirra loaned out.
