We allowed a backup to play those pesky European cup games but I don’t think Kane will want to be rested fro the champions league. And no doubt we’ll have a champions league game between 2 tough games. If we are going to get another striker, we need to guarantee he’s going to score regularly and compete with Kane. Even if it risks Kane being outshone.

Kane’s done great but let’s be honest he should be converting more than he does considering the chances we create and possession we have very game. If we really want to be title challengers each season we should be looking at the caliber of player that Kane has to challenge with in training for the 1st striker spot, not cover. Also Kane tends to sit deep, we should be looking to utilize him there & get a 6yrd box poacher.
