I can remember when Roger Hunt played up front and can’t remember him EVER missing a game! On the full-back issue, if we don’t get Hector then somebody MUST doubt the sanity of our management.
I don’t know enough about Kovacic to say much but he was very popular with the fans at Inter – and I always think that’s a good sign – and not being a regular starter at Madrid when you’ve got Kroos, Modric, Bale and Isco ahead of you isn’t surprising! Whether he is the defensive midfielder we need, I don’t know, but, at 22, he sounds like a good bet.
