Well, how things can change quickly during the Summer months! Apparently, Gotze isn't coming and neither is the Polish chappie but one or two players I've never heard of are now flavour of the month and, potentially, are now targets. Can't say too much about young players I'd ever even heard of until they suddenly became apparent world-beaters almost overnight but being involved in 20 goals in 48 games (scoring ten and making ten), in the case of Brahimi, doesn't scream "spend forty-odd million on this player" to me!
Still, we've got the new keeper and let's hope he begins as the new first choice once he's finished playing in the Olympics for Germany.
Still need another CB but, with United, City, Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea all having upwards of £100m to spend this year let's get our dealings done and dusted BEFORE the top players are lured elsewhere.
Already lost that Xhaka to Arsenal when we urgently need a defensive midfielder. Seems the Gunners may be after Sissoko as well, from Newcastle. He's their standout player and could do a more than decent job as our defensive midfielder if we went for him. I like 'em big and daft!
Do we get that Leicester reserve full-back (doesn't the word reserve tell us something?) or should we go for Jonas Hector the German international?
Things can change in the coming days . . .

With the players we've already got, with hopes of getting Mario Gotze, with this Polish chappie arriving any day, with Grujic already signed and with other players showing an interest in signing for LFC I think we can do better than spending $68m on an Algerian who has scored ten goals in forty-eight games.
Put me (fat, old and useless at footie) in Porto's team, in that very poor league, and I think I could almost guarantee four goals per season.
Just because Leicester found an Algerian gem in Mahrez doesn't mean every club must suddenly get an Algerian so, if we've got that sort of money to spend on an Algerian midfielder, let's get Mahrez!!!!!
