I feel exactly the same, with all the heat on Fellaini I feel that Schneiderlin does not impress me. He seems invisible. Fellaini on the other hand gets bashd for every failure but no credit for the defensive stops he makes and the fact that he has to be triple teamed when in the box.
Sweinsteiger is truly creative, Fellaini should be paired with him.
