I have no problem with using less senior players in certain games so that they can gain experience, but good grief, to be honest, I think the team selections are too inexperienced and naïve. With the exceptions of Mignolet, Clyne, Allen, Benteke and some point Ibe, all the rest of the team are still learning their trade, so to speak. Yes, Caulker is there and has more experience, but he is a new loanee and still trying to adjust his new team. It is almost half-time and to be honest, it is almost like watching the "comedy hour". The side is having great difficulties in stringing passes together and making headway up the field.. The commentators have made mention of the number of games Liverpool have played and that was, I am sure, a major factor in the team selections. However, to have so many of their first team being absent is almost embarrassingly overly optimistic. But, let's give Klopp the benefit of the doubt. He is the manager after all and let's hope he can pull it off within the 90 minutes. As he has identified, Liverpool are playing enough games. They do not need to unnecessarily add one more in the form of a replay.
