The formation should be 4-4-2 with a diamond in midfield. However, Coutinho anf Firmino should compete for the position at the tip, behind the strikers. The strikers should be Benteke and Sturridge, when fit. Until then, it should be Ings.
At centre-back I’d play Sakho and Gomez.
I also don’t agree. As long as we have a replacement e.g. Klopp, then the manager does have to go before we consign another season to the bin.
