Kane signed an improved deal that took him to around 60k….he’s close to the top earners at the club now. A newspaper runs a story saying we’re gonna pay Berahino 100k. So rather than think “the kid isn’t earning anything close to that at his current club and Levy has a closely structured pay system at Tottenham where even their top youngsters aren’t earning close to that so why would he upset everyone and offer that to a youngster coming in”….all the other “journos” go with the same headline…..utter twunts!!!

£120K per month surely, Berehino is on around £15K per week at WBA, we would double that, Kane is on around £45K per week hardly going to give Berehino treble that are we?

That I agree. There is no way Berahino will end more than Kane. We also need to let Lamela go. I think he has proven he is not up to task. He killed our game with Stoke. I, was expecting Pochetinho to being in Ali instead of Lamela, but all the same, we got to let him go especially now that Juventus are showing interest.

I can somewhat agree on the transfer fee. Somewhere in the £18-20M range. However I highly doubt Spurs will be paying Berahino £100k per week. Lloris is on £70-90k per week, and Kane is nowhere near £100k per week. Besides Levy is trying to rid their wage bill of Adebayor’s £150k per week salary. I think it is safe to say that Berahino will be on £50k per week. Still, £2.6M per season!
