Signing Kroos is very necessary as Carrick is almost 34, and Schweinsteiger is 31 and fighting fitness. We also need a defender and Otamendi should be the man at all cost. LvG should be looking at the likes of Moura and Reus instead of wasting time on Bale and Ronaldo. So for now Otamendi, Kroos and Pedro should be rapped up.

As a fan of Man united i can understand from the manager’s perspective that a holding midfielder is necessary, because of the physicality nature of EPL. Moreover Basti is in his 30’s and expecting him to move and distribute can be little taxing, probably the school teacher (Louis Van gal) Is looking for a distributor at the same time some body who can throw weighty in hitting the ball . AS a footballer i feel we need someone who is reasonably tall to be at the center. Now since a fickle minded Ramos has decide to stay back. Get some one like Otamendi to guard the central part. People like Jones make silly mistakes to get an upsetting result for the fans and the club and its owners.

I don’t see any need of signing Tonny Kroos,instead Van Gaal should rekindle the interest in Otamendi or struggle to sign John Stones,otherwise,he has not yet completed the signing of both Pedro and Gaitan both of whom should be acquired to replace the departed Van Persie and Dimaria respectively
