With all the competitions (especially the dreaded Thursday night Europa League football) I am sure that all can get playing time, and in so doing, fight for places in the first team. I reckon that this is also a way of sorting out which players are best suited to the system(s) that the manager wants to suse. I still feel a bit aggrieved at the fact that he chose Dortmund over Liverpool, but whether we made a serious move for him is also debatable.
