I must confess, I do prefer players coming from La Liga as opposed to Serie A. I think the Spanish league is a tougher league than Serie A. No offence intended to Italy. Liverpool’s dealings with players either from Italy or the Italian leagues for the most part, have not really amounted to much and have largely disappointed…aka Borini, Balotelli and the Italian defender Dossena we signed that has since left.
