At £32.5 he’s way over priced and seems not to have the skill set Rodgers spouts on about. He does not press the opposition (his national manger likens him to an immobile pole), he’s not particularly skillful or fast and won’t make the runs Couthinho looks for. If he is successful then Rodgers keeps his job, if he isn’t successful then Rodgers is gone. I think we’ll be looking for a better manager in December, never mind better coaches (Gary Mac excluded).
