Spurs would be utterly foollish to sell Lamela now. Lest we forget, the Argentine winger's first season was marred by injury so, in that respect, we cannot judge him on any evidence. Last season, his momentum began to kick in, although his appearances in the first half of the campaign were limited. From January, Lamela's performances and selection were on the rise. He had begun to play through balls, flick ons and helping to generally get teammates into better offensive positions. By the end of the campaign, opinion has changed towards Lamela. He was being viewed as an essential "nucleus" of the Spurs team.
Next season is a "do or die" assault for Lamela, in that he must lay to rest any niggling doubts and show more of his true qualities. I have always supported Erik Lamela and continue to believe that his skills will inevitably shine through.
I hope the rest of the Spurs staff will advise Daniel Levy, put the phone down, breathe slowly, stop hyperventilating at the sound of money and tell Juventus to "jog on!"
Lamela stays put and that's the end of it.

Hi Spurs Fan.
I think Potch should play him in a different position. Instead of wing bring him in the midfield. He would look good in that area. He has decent pace to suite Spurs high line formation.

When did he ever say he wants to leave Spurs? Everything he seems to have said, in the past few months, points to the opposite!

Won't happen- Lamela still has great potential and Poch likes him. At this stage, Spurs could not recover their outlay for him. A bad Baldini buy, but at least he still has some potential. he should stay.
