i am yet to understand why lvg always go for winger when the club has some holes to b filled with high profile players . i dont tink man united need anoda winger.

As a Benfica fan I am happy that we have finally managed to cash in on Nico Gaitan as it didnt look good there for the past couple years but this season he really showed his class consistently and along with Jonas was one of Benfica’s two most influential players. I can understand Man U fans being distressed at the team continuing to go after attack minded players when they clearly need a serious defensive overhaul. But know that Nico can play LW,LM,CAM,RM,RW so he is much more useful and skilled than Ashley Young. I would expect Van Gaal to be going with a front five of Depay, Gaitan, Di Maria, Rooney & big $ signing. They will have sufficient fire power up front but they must overhaul the back five to have a chance at the PL Title.

Man United do not need Gaitan, however if there is one left -footed player i would love to see at Old Trafford, it is Bale. I think he would be a ideal replacement for Giggsy. United should forget about signing 32 year old Alves, and instead invest for the long term. I agree Clyne would be a good signing, but is he ready for a massive upgrade to Man Utd and the Champions League? Look what happened to Shaw? All that money and in return he went over weight, which contributed to injuries and then lost his form. No disrespect but United really is a massive step up from Southampton. I like the look of Ricardo Rodriguez and i really believe he would be a safer choice due to his experience of playing in Europe and the WC. I will also like to see Schneiderlin, 25, and not Schweinsteiger to join the Red Devil’s. Schneiderlin is just 25, he still has his best days ahead of him and is well established and proven Premier League player. If we had the chance to sigb Schweinsteiger a few years back i would never have refused, however he is now 30 and pretty much injury prone. I am not sure if Gundogan and Schneiderlin are both similar players, but i would like to see Gundogan at United, i know he has just come back from a serious injury, but i believe it won’t be long before he regains full fitness and the form which made him one of the most sort after stars in Europe. If Gundogan and Schneiderlin are to similar then i would absolutely love to see either Koke or Verratti at United. I hate to say this but i would exchange Di Maria for Verrati without any regret!

and guys recall Manchester to compete with heavyweights like baca, madrid or beyern , even Chelsea, city, we need quality players, relaying on likes of fellain, rvp, old carrick, januzaj, chica, Evans, etc is a waste of time. we need fresh blood who are effective with the ball. gaitan, gundogan, otamendi, clyne, scheneiderlin/song, lacassette to join memphis. thus when utd will shine again.

Man U need s two defensive midfielder like Schneiderlin and Gundogan with a right back like Micah Richards who is a free agent. Jones and Smalling can partner in the defence while Chicharito should be called back. A goal Keeper like Peter Cech and that’s all.

Utd need clinical finishers, two holding midfielders,a right back and a central defender. The team need right-footed players. In my opinion, utd lack balance. Utd must sign Otamendi, Clyne, Verrati, Griezman, Koke.

I understand what lvg is trying to do, win the title.. is EPL or champions league within the remaining two years on his contract. and by achieving this, the boss wants instant performance from his signings, thus why he wants experience like alves. Nathaniel clyne is a good fullback but this guys needs time to rediscover their form at big clubs. like shaw, just for future. we need a proper defender too, I like otamendi over humells. strong e energetic pal, can cope with the EPL instantantly. midfield I will go for two defensive covers starting with no nonsense or chief destroyer scheinderlin to partner either gundogan or the forgotten Alexander song. then upfront an accomplished striker. lacasette from from lyon.

Man u did’nt need anymore wingers. Van gaal should push for defenders and sharp strikers in replacement for Falcao and RVP!!! Man u did well in the just concluded season, but there are strong weakness in the striking force. That was why they will have higher ball possession margin and still lost the game

Well, Delpay is a right winger who is deployed at left wing. LVG has made it clear that he wants 3 functional players per position. So we have 2 in the right wing position…. Antonio and Depay, we need one more if Nani is to leave. Send young Januzaj on loan. We have Di Maria and Young on the left, we need one more. Gatian fits the bill. Lars Bender or Morgan Schneiderlin or Gundogan…. I don’t mind either for the middle field to partner Herrera. Key areas are central defence and right back, goalkeeping position….then we are good to go.
