No offence but I think your understanding of the game is questionable
Non of the big teams you have mentioned has a player with the composure Carrick has and brings to the game and non of Pogba and Fallaini is known for dictating play at their teams. in fact they are both playing the way they are and getting all that hype because they are being played as the third midfielders at they current clubs.
Carrick is one player I believe has not got the credit he deserves simply because people nowadays are corrupt into thinking all midfielders should be running allover the pitch goal to goal, scoring goals and throwing around tackles to whoever has the ball, which is not Carrick unfortunately.
I understand perfectly why LVG would take Strootman ahead of Pogba any day because Pogba has only flourished in a midfield where he has had Vidal, Machesio and sometimes Pirlo doing most of the midfield hard work…
and as for Fallaini, it is so evident he has failed to establish himself as a no.6 or no.8 as he lacks pace, he’s so average at passing the ball, his game reading is not up there and he does not create that many chances even when he’s been played in the no.10 position. so basically the only thing good about him is his height and ability to win high balls. trust me he’ll be back to the bench as soon as the players learn to keep possession better as they get more into LVG’s philosophy and we get a more creating and scoring no.10 in the summer.

Man u should add Sami Khedira to these two signings as Carrick replacement. Chicharito should be brought back to act as a back up to Rooney as Man U will be playing with a lone striker in the 4-3-3 formation. Falcao and RVP should leave next season to reduce the wage bill.

Carrick is just a lucky guy, to me he aint too fantastic not madrid,barcelona,bayern or even chelsea will wish for him in their team, we need his replacement, and blind should please allow sneider be, he(sneider) knows he cant meet up with the pace of EPL. Pogba is what we need just imagine pogba and felliani playing side by side, hmmm! I pity our opponents cause our defence will b shielded from constant attacks, infact our keeper will have a whole 90mins to himself cos he will only b accusted with low balls.
Van gaal please tighten our rear with hummels or boateng.

Lets keep Chicharito he is a top striker and our most lethal one, if Van Gaal can revitalise Fellaini and Young why cant he revitalise Chicharito iam sure and confident that he will be a hit.
Any way we must keep Di maria on the Right and put Depay on the Left, lets try put Mata as our number 10 coz he plays better there than any1 else and we all know what he can do when is on song, and lets buy Vidal or Strootman as Carrick’s Replacement, but for nw we must keep him with herrera.
Defensively i think we must buy Hummels and Clyne then the tittle can be ours.
