That has pretty much got to be one of the worst performances by a Liverpool team that I can remember. No drive, no ambition. Instead of playing out wide, they repeatedly came inside playing right into Hull's hands. They gave away an easy goal and could have quite easily conceded further. Hull played with much more enthusiasm and purpose. Liverpool almost played like their season was already over. Without wishing to sound like I am beating a "dead-horse", but as far as I am concerned, that should spell the end for Rodgers. If you cannot go away to Hull and play with purpose and get the 3 points, or at the very worst get 1 point, you really do have problems. The choice of manpower may not be what Rodgers would like but he has enough firepower in the side to be able to manage better than he has and there has to become a point when he throws his arms up and admits a good proportion of the blame is his!
