We should pride in our own McNairs, the Blecketts and if we think of getting ‘quick fix’ to our defensive problems then only Danny Alves is the answer because he comes free. If we are to spent big on defenders, it’s gotta be the likes of Marquinhos, Laportte, Ramos, Humelles or Varane. These aren’t just good defenders but they have a couples of years to pay back ahead of them.
