I have no idea what Markovich was thinking of with that kind of reaction. What a typically amateurish move. Put his whole team under even greater pressure, as if they really needed that. Stevie G pulls a goal back in typical Stevie G style. I can only hope that they have not left it too late. And there it is. Out of the competition at the first hurdle. The only person I feel sorry for really is Stevie G. With quite possible what may or may not be his last trip into Europe. If Liverpool had played the whole game with the same enthusiasm that they found in the second half, it might, just might have been a different story.

Well, seems like the usual Liverpool has shown up. I cannot believe the quality of the play already. It is obviously shocking how bad they are performing. Already 0-1 down and to be honest, being run all over the park. I had to look twice to make sure they were playing at Anfield because they sure are not playing like they are playing at home. I can only hope that they get a grip and quickly. I was kind of disappointed by some of the names included on the roster. If this is what Rodgers considers his strongest team then all I would say is don’t let the door hit you on the wayout.
