Like every player he wanted out because the then manager, Sir Alex Ferguson did not give him enough playing time. We need a world class defender who has already imbibed the United ideology. We need a player who would not join us for the asking price. United should immediately send a scout to have talks with our son and arrange all terms at least a month before the window opens. Other PL vultures will also be interested but I can assure you that Pique will choose his former club because he knows we are class, because he knows we can make it to the Champions League and because at least Sir Alex Ferguson is no more. We should make him appear very important. Every player needs that. Let’s not waste any more time. Forget about Matt Hummels and the others, Pique is our breed and is as good as any on the line.
