Saw nothing to get real excited about as the result limped over the line. Except for a good stop by Mignolet, Basel’s lead would have doubled. Overall the performances were all flat across the board. Liverpool need to step it up otherwise it will be a very short return to the Champion’s League and all the good work done last season will be undone in a few games.
