If it is claimed that Vidal will not sign if De Jong does, that is a clear indication that the story is bogus or Vidal is not serious about moving to United. I see nothing wrong with signing both players. Look at the situation with RVP. United signed Falcao as a replacement. With Vidal’s knee situation, it only makes sense to have a back up plan. While no disrespect to De Jong is intended, I wish Carvalho was the back up plan.

Vidal deal is dead and no time left for an alternative. With RvP long overdue a knee operation the Falcao deal is a brilliant piece of business but unless Van Gaal ditches 3 at the back and goes for 4-3-3, 4-5-1, 4-1-3-2, 4-2-3-1, 4-2-1-3 we are going to be overrun in midfield and picked apart defensively. Van Gall simply hasnt bought the players in who can play that system and have experience in the Premier league

That’s where we usually find ourselves laughing on the wrong side of the blanket because we buy good players who are not yet established and settled in Utd colours and instantly offload established and settled players.
How I wish such players could atleast be maintained to provide stiff competition to the newly acquired stars and release the latter in the January Transfer Window. This has been evidenced courtesy of Evra and Vidic departure which has rendered the Utd defence not only in shambles but also toothless.
