A start to the game with so much control, even bossing the game at one stage, unable to take their numerous chances an and there were a number of them. Going two behind fairly easily. Disappointing for the new look defense. Aguero comes on for 35 seconds and opens up the defense with Mignolet beaten at his near post. Poor effort by Liverpool there. Liverpool do get one back and could have had a second one if Lambert had have gone for goal. Why as a striker he tried to pass it off I have no idea. Liverpool ends up with 10 men through injury. Moreno limping and Skrtel hurt. Does not bode well!
