Sorry I missed out some of what I wanted to say at the end;
It's bee reported that Van Gaal wants to cut down the size of the squad by up to a dozen players. This will create welcome savings and leave the rest if the squad in no doubt that they can't be complacent, which is also welcome. It does, however, mean that long term injuries to key positions and players in a thin squad will risk losing points and struggling to stay competitive against bigger, better squads. With Holland Van Gaal has proven his ability to get results with a squad of variable quality through using a combination of dependable, adaptable players, ambitious, fearless youth and a smattering of real seasoned quality. That is probably what his United squad is going to consist of too. Performance and entertainment wise a good comparison would probably be Everton under Martinez rather than Dortmund, Bayern or Real Madrid. Good, and better than what we had before under More, but not quite what United fans wanted and expected and we are never going to regain the title that way. I hope it's enough to get us back to European football.

Maybe you can't understand (my) English..is it your second language? (which is one more than me) I will admit I do have a bad habit of writing long winded sentences so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
Just to make it clear, I am not supporting Moyes any longer, although I did when he was the manager of the club that I love. He was clearly the wrong man for the job...I blame SAF and the Glazers greed and complete lack of knowledge in football matters for his appointment. Moyes is a decent bloke and I truly feel sorry for the way he was treated but he should never have been given the chance; he was clearly way out of his depth at United and the hierarchy fired him once he had been given the chance to prove it; which is why I find it incredible that United should spend £55m on 2 players that were HIS transfer targets, Not Van Gaals. This makes no sense to me unless it had already been decided that Van Gaal would not be given the £200m rebuilding budget that has widely been reported in the Media, and that these two very early signings would be used as evidence of Woodwards ability to sign better players later in the window. So far I have failed to find any official statement made by the club to refute that £200m figure, which would have been the responsible and honest thing to do and would have given United supporters more realistic expectations.
So, what is the real figure now that the season tickets have sold out and we see Van Gaal make comments about the difficulty of the task ahead; how the budget books have to be balanced and how he needs 3 or 4 weeks to assess his current squad before dipping into the transfer market? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out that the club are using all the media speculation to their advantage. Sorry to repeat myself but it's ridiculous to make statements like Van Gaal made without inviting people to draw the obvious conclusions that either this is all bluff, misinformation and subterfuge, or, he is lowering expectations and United WON'T be buying the top world class players available but players like Vermalen and De Jong instead. When Woodward signed Herrera and Shaw they were touted as signaling a relaxing of the purse strings and the promise of better signings to come, now Van Gaal has said there won't be any more for 4 weeks. He knows that all the major transfer deals will have been made by other clubs by then. He will no doubt argue he owed it to the current squad (and the owners) to give them a chance to prove their worth and ability first and then look around for any scraps he can pick up on the cheap to cover the cracks.
I hope I've made myself clear this time.

Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw are great signings, STOP GIVING PRAISE FOR David Moyes HE WAS USELESS, just think this, Do you really think Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw would sign for Man Utd under David Moyes, SERIOUSLY, he had no clue what to do with the cash, The truth behind Man Utd's transfer shame in 2013, Moyes cancelled Garay's move to Man Utd, Moyes told Hummels he was too SLOW???????, to play for Man Utd, WHAT???, Fabregas did NOT want a move to Man Utd, but David Moyes kept bidding, Giggs stopped Thiago Alcantara's move to Man Utd, Moyes said Herrera was too costly, STOP GIVING PRAISE TOO A B+ MANAGER, You're going against the experienced van Gaal, What's wrong with you.

I don't like the sound of this at all. Does Van Gaal, really believe that Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Dortmund will reserve their players exclusively for United until just before the start of their own domestic seasons and then let them leave? That would never be allowed to happen. Either VG is trying to put the media and other clubs off the scent or he was never serious about buying di Maria, Vidal, Hummels or Reus ....or perhaps he was, but was overruled by the Glazers. If either of the two latter scenarios are correct then we could be in for another disappointing season. The latest two signings have been troubling me; Van Gaal talks about United being the biggest club in the world but also of the need to balance the books; this just after United announce the biggest shirt sponsorship deal in history followed by yet more corporate deals being signed; he sits back without a murmur while Woodward signs Herrera and Shaw, two of his sacked predecessors transfer targets from the previous season. Why, having already spent £65m on Fellaini and Mata the previous season, and sacked the man who wanted them, whom you clearly didn't have any faith in, would you spend another £55m, so early in the window, on another 2 of his transfer targets? These are 2 good players but, lets be honest, they probably wouldnt be right at the top of any of our competitors transfer target lists and considering their relatively high fees represent something of a risky investment given their lack of experience in the EPL and Moyes previous ill judgement on Fellaini. Why would you do this unless you already knew you weren't going to be doing any bigger business later in this window? I hope I'm wrong but I'm beginning to smell a very large rat here. If we are only going to be getting the likes of Vermalen in to augment a squad that desperately needs top quality in several positions then we will seriously struggle to make top 4 next season. I wonder if Van Gaal truly understands what he has let himself in for under the Glazers?!

am very grateful with coming of Van Gaal and now he has taken full charge of the office at Man United for us fans we happy.. He is the who has very varsity experience hopeful he bring the club to the top again .Man United is not very small Club we want to be number one as Van Gaal said when he was giving press conference .
I agree with his Idea of testing his current squad first before adding players is right but early the better because Man united at moment has very great weakness in the central defense and midfield there is need to add one attacking midfield in the center , two quality wingers ,two more defenders for man united to go back into top and qualify for the championship next season. Man united management should stop talking about player until their revilers taking the advantages . I love man united and remain strong fan of man united , Long live Luis Van Gaal and long Live entire management of United .
