You are one naive Arsenal fan who cannot see a negative when majority of what has happened in the club over the past decade has only been NEGATIVE.
Why do you think major portion of Arsenal supporters are highlighting this act of the club, why do you think majority comments agree to the negative facts because they are in the end facts.
Gunners sold 72m in stars in 2011, bought for just 50m odd and less quality.
They sold Rvp and Song for 40m (well settled quality players) odd and bought Giroud Podolski and Cazorla for the same (players who had never put a foot in premier league) and no one can call it a better deal. as it was proven Giroud proved to be average in his first season.
Even when he was average and club had no depth in strikers, Wenger signed Sanogo, brought Bendtner back for strikers position what shame.Ozil is mentioned but gunners needed more than him… then again when Giroud turned from average to shit, he wasted winter window and ignored striker again.
to sum it all up, Arsenal’s transfer windows have been NEGATIVE as far as football is concerned and only a businessman or senseless person can think otherwise
Moreover, for you to give Ferguson’s example is naive as well. Fergie never sold his star players in every transfer window and did buy quality every season to reinforce squad.

I’m tired of hearing the same thing during every transfer season, wenger doesn’t spark any confidence in me, like every other arsenal fan I just keep hoping we get the right players and not half bakes or spent ones in exchange for our good ones. Looks like one of those season with sagna out already. It’s so easy to see where our problem lies, the only people who find that hard is the arsenal board.

Thanks for pointing out what every blog and article seen in the media seem to willfully ignore. History is the only true predictor of the future. Why fans can’t see the smoke through the trees is beyond me. If Wenger is in charge with the current board, our transfer policy will not change. They like the status quo right where it is. Kroenke is a business man, not a football man. As long as we are maximizing profits while staying just barely good enough that there is not a total uprising of the fanbase, he is completely satisfied. His bottom line looks good (very good, in fact). Enough fans stay enamored with Wenger to prevent a revolt = perfect world scenario for a shrewd business man. (And let’s not forget a fresh FA Cup as well that will further serve to placate the faithful and maintain or complacency.)

Wenger is a nice guy. He is also a really good coach. But there is also something a matter with him. The whole world, the supporters, players, ex-players, pundits, reporters…everybody…. were willing Wenger to buy and strengthen the squad last summer. If he had of bought enough I doubt if we would have collapsed after January. Almost everybody thought we would collapse and we did. Many thought though maybe Wenger was a genius. In reality he was a fool. The league was there for the taking but we snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Wenger is his own worst enemy and letting the clubs supporters down.
