the captain – is a massive leader
for us,” Rooney told the Sunday
Mirror. “He has showed in the
last year that you don’t have to
wear the armband to be a leader.
“For us as players it’s down to

John terry as been the best captain England as had since terry butcher,he gave is all and wanted to play every game for his country come what may.

The Captain of England needs to be an ambassador both on and off the pitch,and John Terry is not the sort of person you would want influencing your kids,what with his racism and extra-marital affairs behind his team mates backs the guy is simply not a good egg,Gerard on the other hand both deserves and has earnt it !!
