Make no mistake Mr. Yes, Cazorla is a good playmaker, but Ozil is in his own class, and you will soon prove it yourself. Unless you don’t understand the player you wrote about. Check the stats and you will realize he has made more assists and created more chances than any other player in the top five European leagues. When a player of that calibre is made available, a serious manager has to do whatever it takes to sign him, and that exactly is what Wenger did.
It is true that Arsenal needs another striker, but we are not desperate for one, because Olivier Giroud is playing some of his best football right now. If I can remind you, since pre-season, he has scored twelve goals. Twelve goals in about 11/12 games.Now that is a world class return. Some may argue that he may get injured, but there’s no guarantee that he will, as I’ve seen many who have played all 38 games without injury.
Besides, there’s Bendtner, who, despite being maligned by his own fans, is not as bad as they make him to be, and Podolski will not remain permanently injured, mind you. People even forget that Theo can work as a makeshift striker if need arises.
Finally, I need to use Sir Alex Ferguson’s words to prove you wrong. He said, ‘If you get a world class player, it doesn’t matter where they play, they will improve the team. Look, last year we had Rooney, Chicharito and Welbeck, but we went on to bring in Van Persie.” What the old Scot was trying to mean was that exceptional players like Ozil are must-buys no matter their positions on the field.
Have you forgotten that Chelsea scored more goals than Arsenal yet Torres, their striker scored a paltry 7 goals? If you don’t have enough strikers, you must have several creative midfielders, like Chelsea, Bayern, Barcelona and Obviously ARSENAL. Keep your criticisms to yourself.

In reply to nick. If you don't think Higuain is a clinical striker then you are not a football fan. I hope you look at his scoring record especially from his first few seasons at Madrid when he wasn't on the bench all the time. He was getting nearly as much goals as Messi and Ronaldo until Benzema turned up.

higuain is not worth 32 mil………. hes not clinical enufff………buy ozil and wait on Rooney or lewandoski or suarez…… suarez fa me and we will challenge for CPL…….. bakk to higuain he misses too much chances and does not create enuff for himself……. giroud needs to have a more mobile that can dribble and create also(Suarez, Rooney) fwdd to come and pair with if we are down a goal…. im actually glad we misses higuain, i watch real madrid alot…. naaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!

Apart from wrong title. right things.
The best of fans will agree Arsenal’s transfer window was not a major success. but Wenger knew that signing of Ozil could make supporters forget that and look we are going (i am) going mad that Ozil is ours.
Failure to get Higuain was the major setback for now hidden by Ozil.
I hope we do not regret that in the season and hope Wener signs a stop striker in first week of January

Madrid “needed” funds for Bale after Barca got Neymar, Arsenal needed a marquee signing for many reasons (mainly to get the fans believing in them again).. The two teams struck out a deal that if Arsenal could hike up Higuain’s price (by feigning interest or paying a hiked up price), they would be rewarded. Eventually, Real got a healthy 35mill from Napoli and so Arsenal got to pick and choose which player they wanted from Madrid between Di Maria or Ozil (no brainer).
