Kagawa is very effective for Japan when played on the left with a licence to cut inside if he was played here with Rooney in his favoured No 10 role they could interchange during the game,this would keep both players happy and solve United’s creative frailties in midfield,Mesut Ozil would have been used in these positions so you are right missing out on him is not as devastating as the press would have us think !!
