The reason for this is Abromavich he bought Tores and cannot except he was a waste of £50million,If Mou intends to build a team around him Chelsea a in for a very poor season ,he has lost his pace is no longer a good finisher and technicaly shite !!

It is encouraging that mou has faith in the future of his player,if not for anything,the football world can see that he is one of the best coaches .but let’s be realistic here,football is evolving faster than the time it will take el nino to find his skills back.the youths have taken over the sport with breath taking skills and pace and managers are breaking the bank to get the best. So I advice that fernando should go on loan or be sold to a smaller club where he can have better playing time and if luck is on his side he can regain his touch. Thumbs up to mourinho ,if any coach can do it,he can.

Jose is correct when he makes the point that Torres should play in a system and against opposition to suit his play, and if any coach can provide that, it’s Jose. I think it’s great that Jose is intimating that he can do this and wants the challenge to do so; Torres became a great super sub toward the end of last season too. That could be great for next season, to switch play tactics and personnel during a match to not only potentially rescue a game but also to shake the opposition with enforced changes to them. At the end of the day though, they have never worked together and we will only find out whether any of this talk can be put into practice when Torres joins up with the squad for the US leg of the pre-season tours. So it will be interesting to see; when they’ve worked and trained together, surely only then will we learn for fact whether Torres will be around next season.
