There are 2 possibilities. Real may be trying the same trick as they did with Owen. Offering an on-form Morientes plus 10m for Owen. When accepted, personal terms agreed, Real claims Morientes was not available. Liverpool eventually settled for a reserve team player Nunez. This time round, I think Real could be using Higuain as bait while sneaking him off to Arsenal. This way, Liverpool lose big time, thats why they have been insisting on straight cash deal with dealing with Real.
The second possibility, is that the swap deal is seriously considered. I do not share the same optimism as our fellow Arsenal fans. Higuain, Iturbe and Aguero have more than once stated that they are Liverpool fans. I wish that will not happen, but i admit it will be difficult to rejecta club that you support, despite having no CL.

They have them selves to blame look at Julio Cesar we could have got him Clemet garner, fellaini, and now higuian , Suarez and jovetic those targets we should have a least acquired 3 of those 6 targets there’s still time but nothing will happen no big names will come so that’s why arse wont win anything and wont be in champions league.
