I don’t think there is any bad feeling on Carragher’s part towards Torres. After all, Torres did not score against Liverpool while he played against Carragher; so that should quench any thought of Torres being a superior player. Torres was brought in to score goals, and Carragher’s was to prevent us from conceeding them. Either way you look at it, both players did their jobs magnificently well, and served Liverpool during the period of their times with our great club.

Torres was a great player and still has that little sparkle at chelsea as he did at liverpool but obviously that doesn’t shine as much but he has said that if he loves LFC post move but you cant expect a great player like Torres to stick to a club that didn’t win a trophy in 5 years so understandable that he left but the fact that he said he wasn’t wanted by the club is the part that annoyed a lot of LFC fans

The hatred came about because while Torres was still with Liverpool, he had, on several occasions in the presence of other team-mates, told Carra that the latter was more suited to being a ball-boy than a professional footballer. Torres made the remark in reference to Carra’s limited technical and tactical ability as a footballer. Several team-mates also overheard Torres remarked that it was an embarrassment to play alongside a so-called legend who has such a poor first touch of the ball and an equally shameful second touch.

Yes Carra trained with him and would know Fernando better but if he was performing brilliantly on the field that is in 2009-2010 then really Carra should have the same comments about Suarez as well
Instead he says that Suarez will not be giving that problem because of the kind of person he is. although he clearly states that Suarez might not be happy as well so what does that mean?
We all know that off field problems or unhappiness does not influence Suarez as he gives 100% on the field no matter what.
So if that is the case then Torres did what mattered in 2009-2010 campaign, he may not have been happy with our CL exit but when on field he was no less than fantastic. Then it realy does not matter whether he changed or not in last 18 months because his performances were only bad for last 6 and you can blame a hell lot on INJURIES for that.
