Frankly, I hate the guy. And I strongly suspect he hates arsenal. I’d sooner sign evra before I’d consider that mug and evra is one dispicable individual. Football is mostly a psychology thing. He’d know the fans don’t truly back him and even for the money alone, he’d have no motivation to run through brick walls for wenger.
I’m not even going to talk about the football. I just loathe the dude.

Arsenal as a team need a world class player like rooney so arsenal fans should not allow the past destroy present for them, arsenal board should work hard and bring him to emirate come next season pls.

If he was really that good, I wouldn’t care SO much about the past, but he really isn’t. He’s a very very good striker, but not one that’s worth us breaking our wage structure for. He’s done some great things and played some great matches, but he’s not consistent; he seems to get distracted from time to time and goes through long periods of average games – he certainly did this season. Imo, Messi, Ronaldo, Falcao, Ibra and maybe Cavani could justify that sort of drastic change in our wage policy, but not Rooney. If it was merely a question of making him our highest paid player (even though he wouldn’t be our best player), fine – he would fit into the team and improve it quite a bit overall – but not by giving him double the wage of our highest paid player. Doesn’t make sense.

At the moment, I wouldn’t favour Rooney signing at such multibillion pounds. Arsenal can sign 5 average players at reasonable pay and improved squad.

keeping emotions aside
the sole reason i don want rooney is bcoz he is not a number 9. we already have cazorla playing behind strikers. we need a pure striker
