Borini was ineffective. So was Sahin but in his defense, it was his first game in one of the toughest leagues in the world, after a year-long hiatus. Gerrard is just under the “LOYAL TO THE CLUB” pressure, otherwise there is nothing left at Liverpool for a player of his caliber. He knows he is old, he doesn’t have enough football left in him, but he won’t leave as the fans won’t forgive him joining any other rival club in the league. I think this LOYALTY BANNER is stupidity in football world. players have the right to move on. Anyways Liverpool is way out of the top four competition right now and the way things are, one cannot see them making it to the top 4.
