First Movements have Begun – Man Utd Willing to Offer £66million

Manchester United are constantly linked with Gareth Bale if reports in the Spain are anything to go by.
Last night, we covered a report (via Diario Gol) claiming that Manchester United and Tottenham are prepared to offer 60 million euros to sign Bale next summer.
However, things are a little different as mentioned by renowned Spanish source El Confidencial. It is mentioned that Real are interested in the likes of Hazard and Neymar and in such a scenario, Bale has to depart.

It is further claimed that Bale and Madrid have concluded that the best way to get the player’s career back on track is to send him back to the Premier League, where the Red Devils and the Spurs are interested.
El Confidencial state that the main dilemma is the asking price. Madrid rate him around 100 million euros and can settle for a fee of 90 million euros but not less than that. On the other hand, Manchester United are willing to offer no more than 75 million euros (£66million) and Tottenham, meanwhile, do not want to splash large sums to re-sign Bale.
Bale has missed 40 of the last 60 games for the Los Blancos and the club must realize that with that bad an injury record, no one would actually consider paying 90 million euros. They must consider accepting Man United’s offer.
The Spanish source claim that with the approval of Bale, first movements have already begun through intermediaries. We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds.
