Man Utd Favorites to Secure Signing – $26.5million Could Get Deal Done

Wenger Arsene Arsenal FCManchester United signed top quality players in the summer transfer window to strengthen their squad but Jose Mourinho did not sign any attacking midfielder.
If reports going in the media are anything to go by then the Red Devils are interested in hiring the services of German international and Arsenal star Mesut Ozil to reinforce their offense.
According to an exclusive report covered by Calcio Mercato, Inter Milan are looking to sign Ozil but Manchester United are the ones leading the race to secure his signature in the January transfer window.
The World Cup winning star is yet to score a goal or provide an assist in the current campaign for the North Londoners. His current deal with the Gunners will expire next summer and the club do not want to lose him for nothing.

Therefore, the Italian source have mentioned that Arsenal are open to selling Ozil for a fee of 23 million euros ($26.5million) if he does not agree a new deal.
Mourinho knows all about the qualities of Ozil. The 29-year-old attacking midfielder was a key member of Jose’s team that won the La Liga title in 2012. In all fairness, the above mentioned price is a huge bargain for someone who is a proven quality star.
In your opinion, should United spend $26.5million to sign Mesut?
