Liverpool Certain to Make Huge Bid to Sign €72,000-a-week Star

Liverpool have been heavily linked with a move to sign Virgil van Dijk for a long time now as the Reds look to strengthen their weak defense this summer.
The Dutch center half has told the Saints boss that he wants to leave the club and therefore, he is not training with his team members (BBC).
Liverpool did apologies officially last month to end their interest in the former Celtic center half, however, according to Liverpool Echo, if the player is determined to leave, which in fact he is, then Liverpool are certain to make a huge bid to secure his services.

The 26-year-old defender was brilliant for Southampton last season before suffering a foot injury in the month of January. He featured in 30 games (all competitions) and scored 4 goals.
Van Dijk’s current contract with the Saints will expire in 2022 and he is earning around €72,000-a-week (Daily Star).
The Merseysiders would surely need to make a mammoth offer to sign the Netherlands star. The question is, how much cash should they splash?
Last month, Express exclusively revealed that Klopp has been told that Southampton want 70 million pounds for their prized asset. Should he meet the asking price to get the signing done?
