Liverpool Must Sign German Midfielder: Klopp is an Admirer

Liverpool are looking to strengthen their midfield department and are currently linked with two German Bundesliga players.
Yesterday, we covered a report (via Mirror, Mail & Telegraph) claiming that Jurgen Klopp is keen on hiring the services of Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita.
Moreover, the Reds are also interested in securing the signature of German international and Schalke midfielder Leon Goretzka.
According to Mirror, Klopp is an admirer of the 22-year-old midfielder, who is also wanted by Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.

Leon is a talented starlet who netted 8 goals and provided 6 assists for Schalke in the last campaign. He is a tireless player, who can operate anywhere in the midfield, has the traits to be a hit under the management of Jurgen Klopp and the former Borussia Dorrtmund boss must sign him.
Currently, he is taking part in the Confederations Cup for the senior national side. In the opening game of the competition, Goretzka directly contributed in 2 goals (1 goal and 1 assist) as Germany defeated Australia 3-2.
Back in March, Mirror reported that Spurs and Arsenal are interested in signing the youngster who is rated at around 20 million pounds. His market value must have increased by now but we can expect him to be a cheaper option than Naby Keita, who would cost over 50 million pounds (Mirror link provided).
