Forget Gray – Klopp has to Agree €50.4million Star Signing for Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp DortmundLiverpool were once again disappointing at Anfield and could only earn a single point against Southampton. In four outings against the Saints this season, the Reds have failed to score even a single goal.
The Merseysiders clearly lacked options up front to trouble the Southampton defense. They were gifted an opportunity to take the lead via a penalty but James Milner’s spot kick was saved in the second half.
Jurgen Klopp needs to strengthen the depth of his attack or he will continue to fail in breaking the teams who have a habit of parking the bus.
Recently, Liverpool have been linked with Leicester City’s Demarai Gray (via Daily Mail) but the England international does not have the quality to largely improve Klopp’s attack. Gray has only netted one goal this season.
On the other hand, Liverpool are also interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain star Lucas Moura as pet French source Le10Sport. Moreover, even Mirror (via L’Equipe) has claimed that Klopp has his eyes on the versatile Brazilian attacker.
Without a shadow of a doubt, Moura is far better than Gray and has what it takes to amplify the quality of Liverpool’s offense.
Moura is mainly a right winger but he can effectively operate on the left hand side of the attack as well.
The 24-year-old Samba star has been in top form form the Ligue 1 side this season. In 51 games (all competitions), he has directly contributed in no fewer than 28 goals (17 goals and 11 assists). His current contract with the reigning French champions will expire in 2019 and he is valued at €50.4million (CIES).

  1. RED PHIL says:

With our record of wasting money I’m expecting us to say that a defensive midfield genius has been signed . . . only to find Lucas has signed for another four years! We’ve just wasted millions on getting Lovren to re-sign so getting Lucas to sign another deal would be about par for our management . . . and with every other top club having TOP strikers (Kane, Aguero, Ibrahimovic and Costa) no doubt we’ll start next season without one, again!
For God’s sake, even Everton have Lukaku!

  2. Lucas Moura is the answer
