Not Morata – Mou Wants Man Utd to Get €58.3million Star Signing Done

Manchester United have been linked with a move for Spanish international and Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata for quite some time.
However, Don Balon have suggested that Jose Mourinho is not interested in the former Juventus striker at all. In fact, the La Roja center forward will be heading to join Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
On the other hand, the Spanish source have claimed that the former Blues boss has been in constant contact with Raphael Varane to bring him to Old Trafford.
Varane was managed by the Portuguese boss when he was in charge of the Los Blancos and the French defender was a key member of the side that won the La Liga title in 2012 under the management of Mourinho.
The 24-year-old defender was a regular starter for Madrid this season but an Achilles injury ruined his campaign and Don Balon suggest that Real may look for a new star to partner Sergio Ramos in the central defense.
The former Lens center half has featured in 33 games for the reigning European Champions in the current campaign, scored four goals and provided an assist.
Varane’s current contract with Real Madrid will expire in 2020 and he is valued at around €58.3million as per CIES.
Raphael is not the only center back that United are interested in. Earlier in the day, we covered a report (via Mirror) that the Red Devils are once again looking to hire the services of Victor Lindelof from Benfica.
