Wenger has Moved in to Finally Agree €100million Signing for Arsenal

Arsenal have been trying to renew Alexis Sanchez’s contract for a long time now but they have failed to reach an agreement with the Chilean international as yet.
The former Barcelona playmaker has been Wenger’s best player this season and the North Londoners cannot afford to lose him. However, if they are unable to agree a new deal then it will not come as any surprise if he leaves the Emirates next summer.
According to reports, the Gunners have already lined up a replacement in the form of German international and Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus.
The 27-year-old playmkaer was linked with Arsenal last summer as well. Moreover, back in Novemeber, Mirror claimed that Arsene will target Reus if Alexis leaves. As per the latest update, Wenger has moved in to finally agree the signing of Reus next summer.
Italian football journalist Emanuele Giulianelli has covered an exclusive report (WhoScored) and claimed that Arsenal have moved in and opened talks to hire the services of Marco.
Moreover, he claims that the Gunners are ready splash big money to secure his signing, which will be worth €100million (€60m fee +€40m wages).
The former Borussia Monchengladbach star is arguably one of the best attackers in the world but he has proved to be injury prone in the past few seasons. This season, he has only featured in 7 games for Dortmund, scored 4 goals and provided 6 assists.
Like Alexis, Reus can play anywhere in the attacking third and has the quality to replace the South American star.

  1. Malaysian gunner says:

Footballers like Sanchex are mercenaries. They sell their services to the highest pay master.
I say let him go.Ronaldo was sold by MU when he was getting on top ofhis game.
So Arsenal must be brave and let the Chilean go and geta quality replacement.
No player is indispensable or bigger than the Arsenal.
I know class is permanent but there isa long shot Sanchez might not be able to
replicate his form at his new club.It will take time .
